This Wednesday, Merry Nights heads to Okinawa - inspired by two weeks of tiny izakayas, bowls of soba, ridiculous amounts of sashimi, smoky grills, convenience-store obsessions and all the flavours we found along the way.
Expect an Okinawa-inspired Japanese feast with a little Merry St spin - local produce, Japanese flavours, plenty of sharing and a few dishes born somewhere between what we ate over there and what Luke wants to cook over here.
Not strictly traditional. Not quite Japanese fusion. Just our take on a place we completely fell in love with.
